As I mentioned earlier we added an A-frame to our agility obstacles. It was made in Germany by WT-metall. The shipping to Denmark wasn't cheap, but we ended up paying 6600 kr. overall which isn't much compared to others.

Have you, like I, envied those Smart-99 obstacles used at the agility WC but found them way to expensive? I've found manufacture in Germany who makes aluminum contact obstacles with rubber surface called Agility Alutec Looks like really good obstacles at reasonable prizes.

2on2off issues

The most common contact behavior in Denmark is without a doubt the 2on2off position - front paws on the ground and hind paws on the contact. Even though this is the most taught behavior it does not mean it is easy to maintain. You might start out with a perfect 2on2off position in training, which means great speed and holding the position until released. But as you get more and more competitive you might find your dog loosing speed and missing a contact every once in a while. I hear a lot of people saying oh, my dog know what to do, so I don't get why he's breaking his stay, or just the plain old good one "the dog is cheating!".

Don't you just love when your training pays off and you begin to see some great results? I know I do. I've just practiced some grid work with the dogs - puppy size grids for Zap of course. We did a basic grid and an advanced distance grid with speed bumps.
